This tribute goes to a beautiful first time MOM. Someone that is strong in her own special way, someone that is sweet as pie until you get her upset then you will feel her wrath. This young lady despite what kind of hand she was dealt in her life she was able to turn it around in her favor. She's a very bright and lovely young lady, and she defied all the odds that were against her graduated and is now attending college. I have so much love for her in my heart and there is nothing I won't do for her if I'm able. I am so grateful that I have been allowed to be a part of her from the time she was in her mother's womb. If she's your friend then she's your friend and you are blessed to have her in your life. She keeps to herself and don't bother with petty mess. She is not only beautiful on the outside but on the inside as well. This tribute goes to no other than my sweet baby.........

This tribute goes to a lovely lady who has been in my life for a long time and I wouldn't trade her for the world. There were times when I needed to talk and vent and she was there just to listen. She has offered me advice I didn't want but she knew I needed. I know that if times get tough I can call on her and she will be there to help me. I know God truly answer prayers because before we reconnected through Facebook I had been praying to find you so that I may get to know my niece and reconnect with you. This tribute goes to a friend and young lady that has been through a lot but still managed to come out and keep a smile on her face, no matter what was thrown her way. I met her about 3 years ago and not once did I think we would build a lasing friendship but we did. She has been through a lot but I commend her for not giving up on life no matte what curveball was thrown her way. The stuff she has went through most people would have given up and accepted defeat but she didn't, she falls weak sometimes but she know to call on God and He will give her strength. No matter what others may say or think of you continue to hold your head up high and walk with pride. For only God knows what your destiny is.

Mother's Day Tribute Pt. 4

This tribute is near and dear to me and this young mama deserves all the praise that I can give her and then some. You see I watched her grow up from a little chocolate drop to a beautiful grown lady. I have to admit when she first came into my life I didn't want her there I use to hide her everywhere in the house I could think of {including inside the stereo cabinet my mom had} so my mom wouldn't hold her. You see I had been the only girl for so long and I didn't need anyone else coming into my home bothering me and my toys. Yes she was only a baby but that didn't matter to me, what matter was my mom kept putting her on my bed as she cleaned the house. LOL so that is why I started hiding her, if you name a spot in the house I hid her there. You know back in the day table cloths use to come all the way to the floor so I hid her under the tables, inside the cabinets, behind the sofas, in the tub {no water}, under the beds and yes even in the fridge. After a while she grew on me and I became very protective of her to the point my mom couldn't even hold her unless I was at school. I use to teach her that a cow was a dog and a dog was a big and so on, my mom use to get so mad but it was funny too me and still is. Now as she has gotten older and became a mama herself there still is nothing in the world I wouldn't do for her. I would battle satan himself for my sister and I love her dearly so........

This tribute is for a wonderful person and truly a REAL MAMA, someone that has put the needs of others above her own knowing what she was trying to achieve. A mother who has remarkable strength and patience to endure all she's been through, even when she "fell" she knew not to stay down. She got up dusted herself off and came back stronger than ever. She has a son who was born challenges but that didn't stop her from going forward with her dreams and helping him I the process. There is nothing she won't do for her two wonderful kids and there is nothing she can't achieve when she set her mind to it. She has persevered through all obstacle and hard times to achieve her dream of becoming a published author, and now that that dream has came true she knows the sky is the limit.

Today this tribute goes to Adrienne Head

 

 

 

I am taking this time to honor REAL MAMA'S. You see too me there is a difference between a Mama and a Mother.

Now Webster's definition of Mother is: A woman in relation to a child or children to whom she has given birth.

Definition of the word Mama to me is: Someone who takes the time to take care of a child or children that she has not given birth and loves them as her own.

 

This tribute is to some women that I have come to know in some way or another and I want to show them love for their hard work and dedication.

 

 

 

 

You're a dependable source of comfort;

You're their cushion when they fall.

You help them in times of trouble;

You support them when they call.

 

You are loved more than you will ever know;

You have my total respect

If I could go back in time and have my choice of Mama's

You'd be the one I'd select!!

MOTHERS DAY TRIBUTE PT. 1

 

Sometimes I often here people say "Oh your just a mom" to some women that are not working or has chose to stay home. When I hear that it bothers me because there is no such thing as "Just a Mom".

Being a mom is the most underrated and under paid job there every was and every will be. A mom doesn't get sick time, paid vacations and they're on call 24 hours a day 7days a week. A mom is a cook, maid, chauffeur, photographer, counselor, Hairdresser, ATM, personal assistance, referee, teacher among other things. A mom can be your best friend or if you get out of line your worse nightmare. A real mom will go to the ends of the Earth and back to protect what's hers, she will not allow anyone to bring harm too them and will battle satan himself if she has too. A mother will put herself in harms way and risk her own life to protect the life of her child/children. To a real mom providing for her kid/kids is the first priority over all things, nothing is more important to them than their kids happiness.

If your mom is still around and she has been a REAL mom show her love not just on Mother's Day but everyday because that day may come when your mom is no longer home!

It's that time of year where we celebrate the ones that are dear and close to our hearts

So Confused

 

OK I may need help on this one because for the life of me I can't seem to understand, so here goes....

 

So I just read that Lauryn Hill is going to prison for 3 months for not paying her back Taxes. So you mean to tell me it's better to have her in prison for non-payment of Taxes oppose to just allowing her to pay the money and be done with it. I mean not only are you prolonging getting paid back but you are also taking a mother away from her 6 kids. Now the reason this is so hard for me to understand is because you have Lindsay Lohan out here running a muck all over the dang place and out of all the crimes she's committed including but not limited to violation of probation and refusal to go and stay in court ordered rehab. I mean since when could you dictate if you would or would not go to a court ordered place. I want to know why rules and laws are enforced for some but not for all. She has no kids to take care of and to be frank she is really a hazard to herself and others. I can not figure out why her parents, lawyers and judges refuse to see this child for the train wreck that she is. I mean lets be real here how many of us could do half of what she's done and get away with it. I mean go to court and flip off a judge and I can guarantee you that you will be found in contempt and thrown in jail for a little while. So why is it that she continues to get these get out of jail free passes with no responsibilities but a person who has 6 kids depending on them to take care of them has to go to jail for 3 months for not paying all their back taxes. I mean I guess the nine hundred thousand wasn't enough to keep a mother at home with her kids but being a complete reckless idiot can keep you free from rehab and prison.

 

SMH.....and like I said I just never will understand it so if you all can help me please try but I doubt if you all can explain it either.

 

 

 

So please explain to me what the difference is?



Treat Others How You Want Too Be Treated......

 

 

Often times when I'm dealing with certain things or going through certain situations I try to figure out why people don't treat you how you treat them, the saying is "Treat others how you would want them to treat you." Well I'm kind of lost on that one because I know I treat people good, even those who have not did right by me.

I have went out of my way to try and help someone that needed help even putting off paying a bill or something just so I could make sure I could help them. Even if that meant driving for hours to helps someone get back and forth to work or even to church. Now I won't say in some shape form or fashion people have not been there for me because they have but as I look back on it them being there for me really was for their benefit and not for the benefit of helping me because I needed help.

I look at my situation sometimes and I can't help but to think and or know that I'm in the predicament I'm in because I helped people that needed help.

I often hear, "You stay too far", well if I'm not mistaken I was staying in the same place when I went out my way to help you, it wasn't too far then now was it.

Don't get me wrong I know what the word of God says and that is the only reason that I haven't exploded on people or had a complete meltdown. I thank God that He equipped me at the time to help those people but it still doesn't stop me from wishing that they would return the favor.

I know that I am not the only one who has ever felt this way and I know that there will be other people to feel this way and that I will feel this way again if I continue to help people who don't appreciate it or who refuse to acknowledge me when I need help or even a listening ear. You see there just comes a time when you have had all you can take. There comes a time when you have to just say enough if enough and I'm going to take it any more, but let me warn you that when you do that they are going to feel you're doing them wrong also let me tell you don't worry about what they say or think and just remind them you are doing exactly what they did too you. When you do this don't feel bad about it either just pick up the pieces and move on with you life and know that troubles don't last always, even though it may see like it, they don't.

Praise God for the many blessings He's bestowed upon you and ask Him to remove all leaches from your life, no matter who they may be. You may not see it in the beginning but in the end you will see it and you will know it was all worth it.

 

Bottom Line is this: If someone has helped you before and you may need their help again you may just want too follow that one Golden Rule:
