A very special woman in my life right now
The woman I know if it wasn't for her I wouldn't be here today.
A woman who has not only loved kids she gave birth too but also many others. A woman who has an undeniable love for all her 24 grandkids and 2 great-grand kids. A woman who may get on my nerves at times but I wouldn't trade her for the world. A woman who will give her last and go without just to help someone else that may have a need. A woman who is very special to me....

They say you can't choose family but despite the many downfalls
I feel rather blessed that I was given a special MOM who stands out from the rest
She nurtured me the best she knew how through childhood and gave me sage advice
{even though it didn't stick}
Like to stop being so mean and try my best to be nice
As a teenager I know I was traumatic and gave her, her share of stress
But despite my temper tantrums and attitudes she never loved me less
As I grew up I flew the coup, moved away far and wide
I have always felt her wise words never left my side.
These days we don't spend much time together on our own
to simply talk about life and I listen to her moan
No matter how far we are apart
THE LOVE I HAVE FOR MY MOM WILL NEVER LEAVE MY HEART.
